Getting Ready for Christmas

At Aiden's 9 month doctor's appointment he weighed in at 20 pounds 5.6 ounces.  That put him in the 50th percentile for his weight.  He measured 31 1/4 inches long which kept him in the 99th percentile for his height.  He's still my string bean!

Aiden's first Santa visit.  He didn't cry or anything.  What a good baby!

All bundled up and ready to deliver Christmas cookies to our neighbors.

Adorable picture taken while Bedia ran off for the first time.  Jameson went back out to get her and she was gone.  Talk about a scary 30 minutes.

I'm finally current!!

Here are some pics from this past week.  We had a busy one.  We went to the Bowen team outing on the Spirit of Washington dinner cruise along the Potomac River and went to our first Navy football game.

Sometimes I think he's just going to stand up and start walking!

enjoying the taste of the spoon on the boat

Daddy had a wonderful time showing off his son to his coworkers.

GO NAVY!!

Aiden was such a good baby at the game!

Aunt Chita comes to visit

My good friend, Amrita (or Chita as I call her) came to visit a couple of weeks ago.  We had so much fun just hanging out and shopping.  We also went to the Kinder Farm Park Fall Harvest Festival.  We met some of my mommy friends and their babies and hung out for a bit.  We took a hayride, ate some good food and enjoyed a beautiful day.  Aiden played in the grass for the first time too!

Our first family hayride

Giving Mommy kisses for the first time

Aiden is loving shoe laces lately - I have untied laces often.

Making funny faces at Aunt Chita

Halfway through the first year already?!?!

My baby is 6 months old already!  Where did the time go?  He has grown so much and is learning new things so quickly.  At his 6 month appointment he weighed in at 17 lbs 2.2 oz and was 29.5 inches long.  He is our string bean!

Here is Aiden tasting his first vegetable, Squash.  I started making my own baby food and he really enjoys it.  Peas were touch and go the first couple of days, but now they're not a problem at all.  I've been so impressed with his willingness to try pretty much anything I give him.  I will say that he wasn't a fan of avocado and I can't fault him because neither are we.

He thinks his sippy cup is pretty cool.

He got up on all fours and now he's trying to figure out how to move.

What if I rock back and forth?

What if I get on my toes?  He later figured out how to army crawl on his belly this same day!

Bedia's tongue in action - constantly licking the baby!

Daddy/Son time

Aiden loves to play with Bedia's tail and she is such a good girl while he does.

Kisses from Bedia

This wasn't posed, I SWEAR!!  He's just naturally that adorable!
