The Waiting Game

Normally I absolutely despise waiting on people, but waiting for this baby to be born is a little different.  I'm due in 4 days and can't wait to meet our little one.  I have to say that I'm not sleeping much, and because of that neither is Jameson.  I just can't get comfortable.  Hopefully not too much longer.  It could be anytime or we could be waiting another couple of weeks.

We're getting closer to being ready to bring the baby home now.  The nursery should be finished today.  We're switching out the damaged dresser for the hopefully undamaged one right now.  When the new one arrives I can load it and organize it - my favorite thing!  We can move the glider in, hang the blinds and pictures - all the finishing touches.  As soon as it's done, I'll post some pictures. 

I've been getting things done around the house that I've been meaning to do since we moved in, so I feel better about that.  The nesting instinct is strong with me and I get frustrated when I run out of energy or hurt too much to work on a project.  Thank goodness our Bedia is such a good puppy.  She hangs out in the back yard most of the day or takes naps.  It's nice that she can entertain herself so Mommy can get things done.

Finally Started This Blog!

So we finally started our family blog. We've only been meaning to do this for about 2 years now. We're hoping to be able to share all of our news and goings-on with our friends and family easily this way. You all know that we don't do anything small - for us it's go big, or go home! :) We'll post the latest and greatest Pearson news.

To start off the blog, we're expecting Baby Pearson very soon. I'm 12 days from my due date and feeling ginormous. Baby and I are healthy, and we can't wait to meet him or her. I'll try to post as often as I can with everything that's happening here. Visit often to see what's up on the east coast!

37 weeks pregnant = Ginormous
